7. Edinburgh’s architecture draws millions of visitors each year, it’s everywhere. From as far back as 600AD you can see the work of some of the finest stone carvers, their masonic, gothic and neoclassical styles on show throughout my beautiful city.
Stone craft is not unique to the city centre and 7 miles out of town in a little village called Roslin sits the ultimate masonic craftsmanship. Rosslyn Chapel was built in the middle part of the 15th century and is my favourite place to take tourists, upon visiting you can’t help but marvel at the gothic wonders of Rosslyn Chapel and in true Da Vinci code style.
