I don't know why I always seem attracted to painting a corner in a room light up in a poetic, romantic way. However I painted this more than 5 years ago and it feels sultry melancholic and almost sad. Maybe it was how I was feeling, and although I still know and feel that it was what I was after capturing at the time, I don't feel those feelings now.
Do any of you other fellow artists find this?
