For those who have had the opportunity to travel the 12 mile, desolate, dirt road, that leads up the mountains to the Ancient Bristlecone National Forest, this view will rekindle memories of that unforgettable trip. Although reaching the destination of the oldest, living trees on earth, exceeding 4000 years of age, is the goal, the long, slow trip up the narrow, dirt/rock trail may hold the most memories. Stopping along the road, this was one of the few places you could actually see far into your future and see the winding road you are traveling on.
