Her name is Old Red. She was twenty-five years old at the time I took her photo on a cattle ranch in Montana. She's given birth to about 25 calves over the years. That's AMAZING! As far as I know, she is still keeping up with the rest of her herd.
Considering that the average life span of an Angus cow is 10 - 15 years, I'd say she's looking pretty good. Don't you just love those cute freckles on her nose?
