It was evening when I took these photos down at Madeleine Point. The lobsterman had lined up all his traps and neatly stacked his lobster pots in the afternoon for tomorrow's big job of loading them onto his boat and taking them out to Casco Bay to set for the summer. I am always so amazed by how hard lobstermen and women work all summer and into the late autumn harvesting their lobsters for retail in our area. I think it's great that the children and their parents see all of the equipment lined up on the Madeleine Point Dock. It's a working harbor and we are all there to support one another. Remember this image when you bite down into a piece of lobster and show gratitude to the hardworking lobstermen!
