Description
One of Maine's foremost visual landmarks "Height Of Land" can be seen along route 17 between Township D and Rangeley. Views are spectacular and one sometimes gets a chance to meet one or more of the several moose that inhabit the region. My fingers were frozen to the bone the day I photographed this scene, and I was very fortunate my camera battery held out or I would have had to return to take it. The treetop captured my eye as I was looking for a place to capture a good Lake Mooselookmeguntic Sunset. Copyright 2014 Michael D. Breau All rights Reserved

Nice shot Mike. Normally I'm not a fan of placing something like that tree dead center in the frame like you did. But when it works, it works.
Mike Breau replied:
I agree wholeheartedly Jeff. On rare occasions, the rules are meant to be broken. I thought long and hard on this one,Jeff. The tree-top kept telling me "break the rule: break the rule"-and so I did!! Thank you!!! I really do appreciate your input.
