Rare Events At Acadia National Park
Photograph - Photoraphy
Rare Events at Acadia National Park were a combination of our extended family members coming together at Bar Harbor, Maine and this ethereal looking cloudscape that greeted us there. These multicolored phenomena of refraction though ice crystals left us all witnessing a gorgeous fire rainbow above Frenchman Bay overlooking Porcupine Island, a distinguished segment of Acadia national Park. CHA, or a circumhorizontal arc is what we saw, and it foreshadowed some of several other rainbows that greeted us in what was a cordial and relaxing day among the many other vacationers who escape to the islands to enjoy part of what Maine is all about.
