Description
These gorgeous daisy-like coreopsis flowers in our rock garden brightened my morning walk to the river as the rain tapered to a light drizzle. The pristine silence after a fresh summer rain encourages your thoughts to wander and these delightful sunshine flowers reminded me of a marvelous romantic song (words and lyrics by Jud Strunk). The chorus goes: "I'll give you a daisy a day, dear, I'll give you a daisy a day. I'll love you until the rivers run still and the four winds we know blow away."
