Description
Rabbit Hash, Kentucky is a unique place. It was settled in the early 1800s, when a ferry across the Ohio River set up there. The Rabbit Hash General Store has survived several floods, and was recently burned to the ground. Have been rebuilt, it continues to operate in the same place. The mayor is said to be a dog, and whenever they have an election, a dog is on the ballot. Residents wouldn't tell me if the dog in the picture was the mayor or not.
