Image captured during the last week of February from the north shore of Lake Erie, on the “Thunder Bay” beach; probably the furthest point north on the lake. The mounds of ice on the beach represent several hundred yards of frozen Lake ice that had been pushed ashore over a 48 to 60 hour period, by extremely strong south winds that had “enjoyed” the entire length of Lake Erie, to gain more and more strength as they pushed North.
