I took this beautiful soft Purple Fountain Grass ornamental decorative Foxtail fine art photography while hiking in the California foothills on a sunny spring day. I loved the way the grass was softly blowing in the wind. The red, purple, and beige color look so peaceful. This shot is very different the fall and spring flowers i have been shooting, I really love the feeling of this photograph. It�s so much fun when your out in nature and all of a sudden a beautiful flower or a waterfall catches my eye, such a great feeling.
Jerry Cowart - My journey with photography is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. I am challenged to slow down each and every day in this busy world and to stop and admire all the beauty by which I am surrounded. What I have discovered is to enjoy the moment, to love the sound of the shutter as it goes off and be lost in the joy of that one perfect moment and be able to capture it in my camera. For that one magic moment, and in the blink of an eye it will be gone, I see the perfection and beauty in a world that is not always kind and loving as I would want it to be. My photography is about seeing and experiencing the beauty all around me and hoping it will move the viewer in a way they feel what I felt in that moment, in that once in a lifetime moment that has now been caught in the beauty of a print for all to see.
It is my intention through my original fine art photography to share the beauty and perfection I see with those that view my work.
