I painted this original, The Posted Pelican, as often seen in the Florida Everglades digital painting on my Mac computer using Sketchbook software. I wanted the pelican to stand out so the background is just an impressionist view of the water and land behind the pelican. This version has a darker border and more highlights than the first version which has lighter colors. The pelican is posted out on a piling waiting for a fish.
