Portrait of a Young Girl - Corot
Day 83 of the 100 day 2021 art challenge.
This is my interpretation of the oil portrait of a Young Girl (with a Ring), by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot (~1869). Another wonderful portrait from which to work! For my interpretation, I decided to do this drawing first in reddish pink ballpoint pen, followed by cyan/blue ballpoint pen, sometimes drawing over the same lines to create a deep purple blend. I really like the mix and depth that it created. Marker was chosen for a still background to provide a little balance.
