This artwork was created from a photograph I took while visiting my brother and sister-in-law (David & Christine) who live in Merrilliville, IN. Their calming fish ponds and beautiful flower gardens continue to provide me with inspiration for my artworks.
This painting features a single pink water lily, floating in a quiet pond, surrounded by lush green lily pads. The blades of water grass provide a sense of depth to this artwork, while leading the viewer's eyes back to the main elements of my composition.
