Rays of pink clouds spread over the City of Richmond, Virginia after days of rain. The Downtown Expressway opened to traffic from Interstate 195 to 7th Street on February 3, 1976. SR 195 is a toll expressway that connects the Westend of Richmond with Downtown Richmond, Virginia. Averages of approximately 54,000 vehicles use the Downtown Expressway daily. The Downtown Expressway is maintained by the Richmond Metropolitan Authority.
Albeit I was waiting for the buildings to light up, I had to capture this scene with the car light trails and the pink rays of clouds over the city.
