Description
This beautiful native Hawaiian Koki'o Hibiscus is Hibiscus arnottianus. Although washed in pink in this image, the hibiscus blooms white and slowly turns to pink as the day progresses. The flower only blooms a single day. This Koki'o is one of three subspecies of Hibiscus arnottianus and is the second of only two hibiscus flowers that is fragrant, both orginate on the Island of Kauai.
