Description
This beautiful Dahlia was painted a couple of years ago. At the time, my best friend, Barbara had a daughter at church who was going to the Dominican Republic and holding an auction to raise money. This year, I gave her "Pink Drama" (later, I painted "Peach Drama to give to my friend for her encouragement and being such a wonderful friend for many, many years) and I also gave her "Make a Wish". Both were sold at the auction. The following year, I donated another which sold also so they could make another trip.

Thank you so much, Marsha!! As I said on your own wonderful site, standing helps me so much because I am forced to make larger sweeps with the brush and actually see the whole picture, so to speak. Later, if I want to concentrate on more detail, I try to do so sparingly by either adding or actually removing paint.
