Pena Palace In Portugal
Photograph - Photography
Pena Palace stands high above a hill in Sintra, Portugal. Originally built as a chapel in the Middle Ages, the land was bought and transformed into a palace by King Ferdinand in 1842. The palace has a fresh coat of paint and is a magnificent example of 19th C. romanticism.
