Description
Peacock at the Mill in Selective Color is a mixed media piece of fine art. It is a photograph that has been digitally manipulated in various ways. A color image of the gristmill, located just outside of Bedford, Va was shot on a day with some fluffy clouds then a black and white effect was added. The bird, was photographed on another day at my home. The two images were combined and several painterly textures were applied to create this beautiful and unique artwork. The gable and windows on the mill make for an interesting pattern to balance the placement of the peacock.
