This peaceful pastoral scene is just down the road from our house in the Grand River Valley near Cambridge, Ontario. The wonderful subtle pastel colors and long deep shadows of a misty morning sunrise on this rural valley of grazing sheep was a vision of serenity that was irresistible to paint.
