Panorama Of Valle Grande And East Fork Of The Jemez River And Jemez River - New Mexico
Photograph - Photograph
On the last day of our New Mexico trip we had to rush all the way from Santa Fe to the innards of the Valles Caldera National Preserve, deep in the Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico. It takes more than an hour to leave Santa Fe, drive west to Los Alamos and circle the east Jemez Mountains to enter the extinct volcano. We arrive at the entrance at 5:45 PM, a few minutes before they would close the gate. The weather was in the seventies', the monsoon clouds were hovering above in a beautiful post-rain dance, and the tall grasses were gently swaying in the wind. Truly an idyllic view to behold! Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
