Painted Silo - Lafayette, N J
Photograph - Photographs
As part of a recent campaign to attract new visitors to the area, Lafayette has converted an old grain silo into a welcoming work of art.
The silo, located on Route 15, depicts a rural scene that highlights some of the historical and agricultural icons that define life in this part of the county including a church, a train, and the Paulins Kill.
Local artist Art Frisbee ( yes, that's his name) was commissioned to paint the silo by the Lafayette Township Committee.
