Overwhelmed By Beauty
Sometimes it's important to focus on getting the great shot. But it's also important to take it all in and enjoy the beauty right in front of us. On this night at Delicate Arch in Arches National Park, our students got to do a little of both. After all, it sure was a gorgeous scene and certainly one to remember for a lifetime.
How I Got The Shot
For this image, we used some low level lighting (LLL) to illuminate the scene with gentle illumination and that went a long way in providing some great lighting on both the foreground and the arch. Beyond that, I just needed to show some patience as the scene unfolded in front of me. On the post-processing side, I used some targeted adjustments and NIK Dfine 2 to reduce noise in the darker areas.
