Description
These Playboy roses a small, perhaps 3 inches in diameter. They have wall defined petals. Their colors blend between two colors, this one yellow orange. They grown on low shrubs. I haven't seen them reach over three feet tall.
The origin of roses is unknown. However, fossil traces of them date back 5000 years in China. All of the many rose types today came from one original genus.
Dating back as far as the sixteenth, roses were cultivated and chosen for certain outstanding qualities. This led to the hybridizing of the many types and colors we know today.
Along with hybridizing the flower itself came the cultivation and improvements in the plants and shrubs overall. In modern times, we have taken that much farther, making them resistant to pests and to last longer once cut for bouquets and arrangements.
Roses have always been a type of messenger flower, red for love and romance, pink for elegance and grace, yellow for warmth and happiness and also jealousy, white for purity. Specific meanings have been applied to each and every color of bloom available. People take the meanings seriously. When giving roses, it is said you need to check the meanings of the colors to assure you are getting the point across that you wish to make.
