Orange Ixora Macro
Artist

Description
Large orange ixora flower growing in a garden near Houston, Texas, as a tropical evergreen shrub. This picture-perfect nature and botanical macro photograph has been cropped to the equivalent of a 10x8, ideal for decorating. Several orange blossoms fill the background, which includes healthy green leaves with plenty of raindrops, a lovely bokeh, and no sky. It has just finished raining (early bands of Hurricane Laura), so this plant looks especially lush, healthy, and radiant.
Ixora is a tropical to semi-tropical evergreen shrub, suitable for landscapes in USDA Zone 9 and above. The plant is often grown as an annual in temperate and cooler climates. Ixora shrubs, related to gardenia, are known for their large corymbs of bright florets. The large flower clusters come in red, orange, yellow and pink. They are also known as “jungle flame” and “flame of the woods.”
Minimal maintenance is needed when growing an ixora bush. These ixora are planted in organic soil in a tropical garden. You will find more ixora images in this gallery, planted in large pots near a patio.
This bright pop of natural color would be suitable for a variety of uses in your home or office. Check out the possibilities for bringing a fresh look to your space and lifestyle.
