Description
A welcome on Nantucket, Cape Cod. This lovely blue open Dutch door was spotted at a cottage on Nantucket near the ferry wharf. The half open door and the colorful flowers in the window box presented a warm welcome to visitors just wanting to stop by and chat for a while.
Nantucket is one of the two main Cape Cod islands, and sits in the Atlantic just south of Cape Cod. Along with the other popular island of Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket encompasses harbor towns and lighthouses, sandy beaches and quaint shops along the ferry wharfs. It's accessible only by boat or air from the mainland of Cape Cod.
