Once Believed That Birds Migrated To The Moon And Back
Artist

Description
Photographic artwork by Cindy Treger. Photographed near Lake Meade, East Berlin, PA. I find photos of the moon simply fascinating! When I look at this I can't help but think that in the 17th-century a scientist by the name of Charles Morton believed that birds would migrate to the moon and back. He figured that they flew 125 mph and reached the moon in 60 days. Wow, how far we have come!
