In the spring, I always look forward to my roses. They are so beautiful. But what really amazes me is how long they actually bloom. They are in abundance in the spring, early summer and then they take a break from blooming in July and parts of August. At the end of August, September and now into the middle of October, they are blooming once again. A dear friend of mine says that it is sometimes too hot in the middle of the summer for them to bloom. It's a good thing that they take a break too in the heat of the summer because the Japanese Beatles wreak havoc on them.This rose is blooming right now on October 21. It's a miracle to me that we are one week away from Halloween and the start of November. If they are still around next week and into the week after, I will be so happy. So blessed to have this beauty!
