Description
The sun sets over Atlantic Beach at Fort Macon State Park in eastern North Carolina. This view is near the western border of the park and adjacent to the park's swimming area. The sky is alive with hues of orange, yellow and blue. A gentle sur rolls onto the sandy beach.. Small shore bird dash in and out of the encroaching water searching for the days last meal. This area of NC is known as the Crystal Coast or the Southern Outer Banks.
