Description
Trinidad's local wildcat, the Ocelot, posed on tree roots under dark forest foliage. The ocelot is not much bigger than a tom cat but it has such a regal presence. I did this painting in acrylic on textured paper in tones of emerald green, raw umber, burnt sienna, bright lemon yellow and cerulean blue. This is one of my favourite pieces in a collection I did on endangered species in Trinidad and Tobago.
