The image of this wave is one of us and all of us. We are created to live on a globe — a sphere — not a square. It is called One because we are all part of one world. Diverse in culture and creed—yet we are still part of one world.

Each of us, as a spec, a drop of water in a never ending eternal flow — and so it goes. This wave is intentionally diverse in colour. It is a portal to the future and we all go there together.

There are no square edges here — no north, south, east or west on this piece. There is no dominant continent or country, just a collection of all of us in beautiful alignment with one another, creating beauty.

While I am not suggesting that we are all the same, we are all of equal value. Our origins may be different, our songs, our beliefs, and skin, our families and our nations, yet we share the same globe — perhaps it is time we did so — with greater regard for each others intrinsic value.
