The Notre-Dame Basilica is a historic and world famous Catholic church built in 1823 in Old Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Its interior is filled with intricate wood carvings and religious statues, and is decorated in blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. It has stained glass windows that show the religious history of Montreal and a pipe organ with 7000 individual pipes. It hosts various musical performances as well as the Aura light show, and has more than 11 million visitors each year.
A watercolour paint filter has been applied to this photo for a more artistic effect.
