Description
This photo of the sun setting at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, Louisiana. This photo was acheived with my Cannon AE 1 500 mm lens and a 2 x teleconverter a total of 1,000 mm and I used a tripod. The two sail boats pictured were heading back to dock. I waited for the right moment and captured this very unique photo. The sails of the boat seem to suspend the setting sun. The camera was on auto settings and used a shutter cable. The sail boats were many miles from the shoreline. Behind the said boats is the worlds longest elevated bridge over water. During fog caravans are formed on the bridge and traffice is very minimum.
