This 1912 brass antique relic, collectors item is a Mardi Gras Favor from the 1912 Rex Mardi Gras Ball held in New Orleans, Louisiana USA I inherited this Mardi Gras favor, they are highly sought after by collectors and museums. They are rare and not easily found. From time to time they may be put up on the auction block. A mirror just like this one is housed in the The New Orleans Museum Of Fine Art located in City Park. This and the silver basket from England I inherited from my mother when she passed in the 90's. An interesting note, 1912 was the year the Titanic Sank.
