Along the road to see all the sights of Capitol Reef National Park, Utah. We pulled off to see this beautiful Navajo Dome Formation in the park. Love the beauty of this national park, the contrast of the rock formations against that blue sky. Was a wonderful day.

A terrific shot! Am I right in assuming that those poles are to indicate where the edge of the road is in deep snow?

Kathryn, thank you very much. I think that could be a possibility about the snow. But we have been on mountain roads where the poles are much higher. I'm thinking one other reason for the poles could be a reflective so one can see the curve. The mountain roads that we were on here were very curvy.
