Description
I was teaching school at the age of 18, 11 miles from home. Apparently my Mother wished to have her car back. When I drove in the driveway one evening this car was sitting on the lawn, as you see it here. I was stunned. Bruce wanted to get married in Dec. Instead of June, he in Iowa, and me in CA. He tells everyone that I came with this car. I have tried to find toy replicas of it and even asked a maker to make me one. I finally found an old photo of mine from way back when. The painting is rough. My hands are stiff and cramping and the photo was not very good. But I finally have my favorite car back! My gosh, those cars were big then.

Thank You, Donna. I was so sure I had answered you. Sorry! I have tried for many years to find the toy of this car but apparently no one has made one. I even asked a manufacturer to make one, and never even got an answer.

I really like this painting. How lucky that you own the 'model'. You should bring it over here to Reno for "Hot August Nights" Car Show. I owned a 53 Chrysler - beige and brown. It was a hard top though. It actually was in the Movie that was filmed in Bishop, CA in the seventies. "The Other Side of the Mountain". It was the movie about Jill Killmont. You really captured the car. Really nice job.
