Description
This is the Constanta History and Archaeology Museum, established in 1911. When I first saw the building (the former City Hall) I asked myself if that was the museum or an exhibit. It looked old. Surprisingly, the building itself is only a little over100 years old.
In the museum you'll find artifacts of the area dating back at least 2000 years, possibly more. Before it was Constanta this area was known as Tomis, which had its beginnings around 600 BC. Now that's old....
