Murrow Complex East - Washington State University - WSU's renowned Edward R. Murrow College of Communication is widely recognized as one of the premier communication schools in the nation. The school's annual Edward R. Murrow Symposium brings high-profile communication leaders to campus every year and gives students a chance to learn directly from leaders in the profession.
Northwest Public Radio, Northwest Public Television, publication offices for the Chinook yearbook and the student-run Daily Evergreen newspaper, as well as the Washington Higher Education Telecommunications System (WHETS), are housed here in Murrow Hall. The Murrow East addition provides students and faculty with the most up-to-date broadcasting, research, and computer technology. It includes research and teaching labs, a digital TV news studio, faculty offices, and a 172-seat auditorium.
