Description
A semi-abstract painting "Mule Deer Skyline Drip Pop Art" is a wildlife and nature painting created in a style somewhat reminiscent of Jackson Pollock's unique drip paintings of the mid 1900s combined with the basis of "Skyline" painting 1st introduced in the 1800s.
Jackson Pollock's drip work was completely abstract or nonrepresentational in that there was no recognizable subject matter in the finished product. Pollock's unique method of painting was created by driping, pouring and splattering paint on to a canvas. Therefore his method became known as action painting because of the energetic process used to apply paint.
Skyline paintings seem to be primarily of horizons of famous cities such as "The Sky Line of New York City", a lithograph created for the New York Journal's color supplement in 1896. City skylines are all quite unique, no two being just alike making them historically a useful interesting visual way to illustrate the location of an event or etc. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyline)
