Description
The original of this abstract landscape painting of a mountain range is an acrylic mixed media art piece incorporating acrylic paint for the pale sky and torn art papers and sheet music for the mountains. There is something lyrical about the mountains. Sitting on top of one of the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains looking over the endless mountain ridges is soothing - just like a lullaby or serenade. This is my ode to the music the peaceful mountains play for me.
This image was posted previously, but I have done some refinements and updated it. I also have a digitally created vertical version of this painting.
The Blue Ridge Mountains cross the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, forming the eastern front of the Appalachian Mountains in the Southeastern United States. The Blue Ridge Mountains are recognized by their long, parallel ridges, separated by deep valleys and blue tinged color.
