Description
While on a quest with my siblings to find a field stone for my father's grave, we came across a trail not far from Johnny Fox's Pub beside a house called 'Bothered Rocks' where my father used to live in a hut on the land. This was back in the early '50's when he was single. The hut was called 'Carefree' which said it all! The whole experience was marked by strange coincidences and we believe we were led to this place and the people we met up there. We found the ideal standing stone and it turns out that Dad would have passed and maybe sat on it many a time as he viewed the beautiful mountain scenery. I took this photograph of the mossy granite wall that separated the field where he lived from the trail that led to it!

What a wonderful touching tribute to your Dad, Martine...something you can share with your siblings. Back to the earth and back to when he was carefree. G+
