An early morning walk along the remnants of the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal at Wrightsville Pennsylvania. The Canal carried coal, lumber and passengers between Wrightsville and Havre de Grace, Maryland between 1840 and 1894. Rail and ship connections in Havre de Grace serviced Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Passengers could purchase tickets to Liverpool, England at the Wrightsville office.
