Mobil (originally Standard Oil Company of New York and then Socony-Vacuum Oil Company) was a major American oil company that merged with Exxon in 1999 to form a parent company called "ExxonMobil". The Vacuum Oil Company trademarked the Pegasus logo in 1911 and by the 1930s was marketing Pegasus Motor Spirits and Mobil oil.
I saw this sign hanging on the side of the road in Southern Missouri with rust dripping from it and bullet holes through it. It still looked awesome to me! Canon EOS Rebel XT. Post editing is recover faded photo bw and framed in a white mat.
