Description
If you saw what this woman actually looked like you would agree that she is a classical beauty. Her physical features conform to the golden ratio and all that jazz. Here, though, I decided to experiment and go the unconventional route, photographing her image through a glass filter and then adding some additional digital filters in post production. At least one person I've shown this to said she looks like she's in pain--and I agree. And then I thought, what a fascinating way to show pain that a beautiful face might hide. In real life her physical beauty distorts your view of her pain. Here, the glass filter distorts her physical beauty so you can see her pain clearly...what do you think?

That title! So clever! She's clearly in pain; however, she looks as though she just wants to be understood. Love!!

I was impressed by the creativity of this image even before I read your description. Now...wow! You are really on to something. I think we definitely tend to hide our true selves behind our public "faces." Great job, Aurelio! l/f

I think seeing her true emotion is beautiful Overly contoured noses and Bambi eyed filters feel a bit yesteryearโฆ Itโs time to start filtering in gritty raw emotions and a slightly messier image โฆ it feels kinda 90โs Versace and I love it .
