This is not a straight photograph of a Mazda Miata, it has had small brush strokes added to enhance the surface appearance in larger sizes. The setting is a sandy beach on the bay side of the Assateague Island National Seashore. Of course, going topless under that cloudy sky means we need be ready to put the top up on this sporty roadster om short notice. However, that is easy with this Miata's Power Retractable Hard Top feature. Twelve seconds is all it takes. And, yes, this is the photographer's photo ride.
