Description
This beautiful flower is native to tropical areas of México belonging to the Asteraceae family where the popular Sunflower, Chrysanthemums and Cape Daisies are found.
The plant is highly appreciated in gardening for its showiness, abundance of its flowers, and its ease of reproduction since its seeds germinate very easily wherever they fall, which has caused invasive behavior in different regions of the world

I love Cosmos flowers! There was an article in our paper yesterday about a big field filled with Cosmos flowers where a juvenile detention center once stood. Folklore says these flowers symbolize order and harmony. They also symbolize tranquility, peace, innocence and love. I love how nature can fill our spirits with beauty and messages of hope! . . .fv
