Metal Serpent Of Borrego Springs
Artist
Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography
Medium
Photograph - Original Photography
Description
This 350-foot serpent body submerges and emerges from the desert floor, seemingly going under the Borrego Springs Road. It is one of the editions to the garden in Galleta Meadows Estates.
The sculpture garden was the vision of Dennis Avery (of the Avery Label fortune) who envisioned free-standing art on his property that represented wildlife and history of the area.
The artist is Ricardo Breceda of Perris,CA. He brings life to his sculptures by capturing each creature in motion. There are over 130 large metal sculptures to enjoy.
And the Anza Borrego is one interesting and unforgettable place.
