Description
THE ORIGINAL ART IS FRAMED.
I did this painting especailly for the Dark Wood: Roots of the Fairy Tale show at the Krab Jab Gallery in Seattle, WA where it will be until September 5th 2014. If you are in the area drop in and take a look at the original.
This creature is the guardian of the tomb of a powerful Scottish Thane that contains his body and a spectacular treasure trove. The text around them reads:
And so was taken a lock from Medusa's head to fashion a keeper for a Thane long dead. Prowling the dark wood where his form was lain, could you subdue fierce fangs for gain?
The text around the edges reads: And so was a lock taken from Medusa's head
to fashion a keeper for a Thane long dead.
Prowling the dark wood where his form was lain,
could you subdue fierce fangs for gain?
This three headed creature guards the body and riches of a powerful Thane's tomb. Good luck getting by them.
The piece is framed with acid free archival materials and UV glass to help protect it from sunlight. Hang it out of direct sunlight.
