Description
The Mean run Lighthouse outside Ploumanach on Brittany's fabled red granite coast. After the previous lighthouse was destroyed in 1944, locals quickly built another one and inaugurated the new harbor light in 1945. It is also known as the Ploumanach Lighthouse and boast a visibility of twelve nautical miles. The Breton name - Mean Ruz - for obvious reasons means the "red rock" lighthouse.
