I am not one to visit zoos often, but this time a dear friend wanted to visit our local zoo. We were in for quite a surprise. Not only had the zoo improved its quality of care and exhibitions, but there were babies all over! This anteater had a little one. Apparently the little one had frolicked earlier with its mother, and was quite tired, so rther than just lay on the ground, it hitched a ride on Mom’s back. with one leg draped alongside its head, it was quite the sight as mom walked about the pen.
